On the mountains of today, Lie the possibilities Of tomorrow.

Dancing With the Universe

Life waits for us,
A starry-clad wild dancer-
Shall we refuse this call,
Or shall we take its hold?
Do we want to be
A complaining gray mouse,
Or would it make sense
To join in on the heavenly dance
Of floor,
That is not resplendent like other stars?

Those who dare tango with existence,
Find themselves swept away
Into a grand love affair,
Where trust blossoms
Like a supernova,
That destroys all illusions of being,
Separate entities from each other.

Because every breath
we breathe out,
Is a message of love.
While every single occasion
Remembered
Not in order only,
But rather forever.

On the mountains of today,
Lie the possibilities
Of tomorrow.
For who knows where
They may send us
Into some unexplored part of being?
As life who loves us passionately,
Whirls us in and out of galaxies
That are made up of holy moments,
We are shown fresh constellations
Of wonder in each revolution.

Instead,
This means to dance
With the universe
Is an acceptance of its music,
Even if sometimes
It becomes disharmonious
To our ears.
It means getting rid
Of heavy armor
Against all that we would.
Instead,
Embark into espousing
Light gowns that
Is acceptance.

Within this cosmic ballet,
We are student and creator,
Learning steps undreamed before,
Now interweaving patterns
More delicate than we had imagined.

And so,
As the sun spins around through space,
Take another spin around that star.
Realize how much it is
That we share with this life,
For once there would be
Nothing else
But its pure essence
When at last –
Without any thought or effort at all –
We become what we have
Always been in our hearts:
Simply dancing.

The Cosmic Tango

Ever feel like life’s got its own rhythm, and you’re trying to figure out the steps? That’s what this poem’s all about. It’s like we’re all at this grand cosmic dance, and we’ve got two choices: sit it out or jump in.

Think about it – life as this wild, starry dancer. It’s not asking us to waltz politely, it’s inviting us to tango! It’s like what the philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche talked about when he said we should say “yes” to life. Not just the easy parts, but the whole shebang – the twirls, the dips, and yeah, even when we step on each other’s toes.

Now, this idea of trusting enough to be swept away? That’s not just about letting go. It’s like what Martin Buber meant with his I-Thou relationship. When we really connect – with people, with life itself – we’re not just observing anymore. We’re part of the dance.

And how about that bit where every breath is a love message? That’s not just poetic fluff. It’s like what the mindfulness guru Thich Nhat Hanh taught – that every breath connects us to the world. Each inhale, each exhale, it’s like we’re dancing with the air itself.

Those mountains of today with tomorrow’s possibilities? That’s hope in action. The philosopher Ernst Bloch had this idea of the “not-yet” – that the future’s always pregnant with potential. Every step in the dance could lead us somewhere new, somewhere amazing.

Now, accepting the music even when it’s off-key? That’s wisdom right there. It’s like what the Stoics taught – we can’t control the music, but we can control our moves. Sometimes life plays a funky tune, and all we can do is improvise.

So what does this mean for us? Well, maybe it’s about finding our rhythm in life’s big dance. It’s about saying “yes” when life asks us to tango, even if we’re not sure of the steps. It’s about breathing deep, feeling the beat, and trusting ourselves to move with it.

Remember, we’re all stumbling through this cosmic ballet together. Some days we’ll glide, some days we’ll trip. But the beauty’s in the dance itself, not in getting all the steps perfect. So go on, take a spin around that sun. Feel the rhythm in your bones. Because in the end, as the poet Rumi said, “We’re all just walking each other home.” And what better way to walk than to dance?
